Large clam shaped Rougier lamp Canada, late 1970s. Although there is little documented about the Canadian designer Roger Rougier we know that their designs were produced between 1970-1980. Most famously specialising in lamps, their designs depict organic and naturalistic shapes. Ornate floral and whimsical shell-like designs made from acrylic resin sit alongside their tubular creations which comprise of tall ovoid and spherical lamps.
