Description

The Solarium is a 65mm diameter glare hood in grey powder-coated aluminium, designed to fit over the head of compatible outdoor spotlights to reduce light spill and control beam direction. The hood projects 50mm forward from the spotlight face, narrowing the cone of light and preventing glare from scattering into unwanted areas or into sightlines.

Designed for garden paths, driveways, patios and architectural uplighting where focused light is needed without overspill into neighbouring properties or windows, the hood clips or screws onto the front bezel of the spotlight (fixing method depends on the specific spotlight model). The 65mm opening diameter suits most compact outdoor spotlights rated between 5W and 15W. The hood does not alter the spotlight’s IP rating but does reduce the effective beam angle by approximately 10-15 degrees depending on the base fixture.

The grey powder-coated finish is applied over aluminium,
