Description

This GU10 LED spotlight bulb is a directional mains-voltage lamp that twist-locks straight into a standard GU10 holder, so there is no transformer to fit. It draws just 6.5 W yet replaces a much older 86 W bulb, giving 540 lumens at 4000K cool white. The PAR16 spot shape throws a tight 36 degree beam, sending a controlled cone of light onto whatever sits below it rather than spreading it broadly across a room. Across the Atlantic this is the bi-pin reflector lamp many call a PAR16 or simply a GU10 spot, and the format is the same on either side.

The 36 degree beam suits accent and task work where a defined pool of light matters more than wide ambient fill, such as picking out a worktop run, a shelf display, a piece of art or a reading chair. Several spaced through a kitchen, hallway or living room give layered, repeatable spots, and the IQ-LED engine carries an Ra 95 colour rendering figure so colours, finishes and skin tones
