Description

The Knightsbridge 36W LED E40 corn lamp is a direct retrofit replacement for high-intensity discharge (HID) and SON lamps in commercial and industrial high-bay fittings, post-top luminaires and enclosed floodlight housings. The E40 Edison screw base fits standard mogul sockets, and the 36W LED array delivers 5115 lumens at 4000K cool white with a 145lm/W efficacy rating, reducing energy consumption by 60-70% compared to equivalent HID sources.

The lamp body is constructed from white polycarbonate and aluminium with an integral cooling system that draws heat away from the LED array via vertical aluminium fins visible between the polycarbonate ribs. This keeps the LEDs operating within thermal limits and supports the 50,000-hour L70B50 rated life (50,000 hours to 70% of initial output for at least 50% of lamps). The 280-degree beam angle provides near-omnidirectional light distribution, making it suitable for open and closed fi
