The MC-030-B is created from high tensile, aircraft grade, extruded aluminum; so its both stronger and lighter than cast iron clamps.

The MC-030-B fits from 1 pipe to 2 pipe sizes (1-15/16 OD to 2 inch OD tubes.) This means you can hang fixtures from a 2 pipe without having to buy an expensive Heavy Duty Clamp. The MC-030-B fits the larger pipe standard.
