Description :
This compact and richly detailed brass ceiling light base features a 5 ” diameter with a height of 5″. Likely from the late gaslight or early electric era, it includes ornate repouss work with scrolling waves around the perimeter and vertical fluting across the dome. The two side hooks suggest it may have been used to suspend chains, glass shades, or other lighting elements. The finial top and aged brass patina enhance its antique aesthetic, while the underside reveals original mounting hardware, making it an ideal piece for restoration or architectural reuse.
