Description

We stock the Dip 45 honeycomb lens as a transparent plastic accessory for 15W LED downlight modules. It narrows the beam to a 45 degree cone and cuts direct glare from the LED, with a honeycomb structure of hexagonal cells that breaks up the light path, softens the beam edge and holds the spill within the main cone. It is an add-on optic rather than a light fitting on its own.

We fit lenses like this where a downlight needs to light a defined task area without scattering light across nearby surfaces, so it suits offices, retail display lighting and homes alike. The 45 degree beam works well over desks, counters and display shelves at ceiling heights of roughly 2.4m to 3m. It clips or sits into the downlight trim ring, and exactly how it seats depends on the 15W module it pairs with.

The lens is made from plastic that copes with the everyday operating heat of an LED downlight, and you can wipe the honeycomb cells clean i
