Description

This clear ribbed glass shade is a replacement component for Elstead’s Douille range of vintage-style pendant lights and wall fittings. The shade is bell-shaped with vertical ribbing running from rim to base, creating a fluted surface that catches and refracts light through the glass. The 28mm fitter ring at the top clips onto standard UK pendant lampholders and wall bracket arms used across the Douille collection.

Designed to pair with exposed filament bulbs, the clear glass provides minimal light diffusion, allowing the full brightness and character of the bulb to be visible while the ribbing adds visual texture to the fixture when lit. The shade suits dining pendants, kitchen task lights, bathroom wall lights and bedroom reading lights where a clean, functional glass shade is required. The bell profile directs light downwards, making it effective for task lighting over worktops and tables.
