Why is it Special?

East meets West in Jaime Hayons playful tweak of a traditional Asian lanternwith acontemporary twist. Dating back centuries, paper lanterns have featured in Asia amongst the privileged and the poor, where different colours, shapes and sizes connote different meanings. Hand crafted with rice paper and black stained oak accents, merging various sizes and shapes together, this series is comprised of three different lanternshapes and sizes.
