We stock the Holity as a surface mount ceiling adaptor that lets you fit a recessed downlight where you cannot recess it. The cylindrical housing is matt black powder-coated steel, and it sits directly onto the ceiling so the downlight fitting lives inside its body rather than up in the void. A white internal base plate reflects light back down, and the low-profile cylinder keeps visual bulk to a minimum.

We reach for this adaptor on retrofit and new-build jobs where a full recessed installation is not practical, most often when the ceiling void is too shallow or a surface-mounted look is what you are after. It conceals the ceiling cut-out and gives a finished result on solid ceilings and joisted ceilings alike. The matt black body works well against dark ceilings as a discreet mount, or on lighter surfaces as a defined accent, which suits contemporary, industrial and minimalist rooms.
