Description

The LYYT in-line RGB LED strip amplifier is a miniature repeater device designed to extend RGB LED tape runs beyond the capacity of a single controller. It accepts a 5-24Vdc power input via a DC jack socket and outputs a 4-pin RGB signal, allowing additional lengths of RGB tape to be driven without voltage drop or colour fade. The amplifier measures 42 x 13 x 5mm and weighs 3g, making it small enough to be concealed behind tape mounting channels or within ceiling voids.

RGB LED tape installations longer than 5m typically require signal amplification to maintain consistent brightness and colour accuracy across the full run. This amplifier sits between the controller and the extended tape section, receiving the RGB control signal from one end and re-amplifying it with fresh power from the DC socket.
