Instead of traditional materials like glass or metal, the lamp’s shade is made from a three-dimensional fabric stretched over a metal frame, much like a sweater. With its simple construction and minimal material usage, the Mollis pendant lamp is functional and easy to maintain, as the shade can be easily removed and washed or replaced. Most of the LED light is effectively directed downwards, but the fabric material also diffuses the light, creating a soft, cozy atmosphere in the room. The knitted pattern of the shade allows light to pass through and highlights the shape and architectural character of the lamp.
