Description

The QTX R80 is a red reflector bulb with an E27 screw fitting, 60W rating and an internal reflector that directs light forward through a red-coated glass dome. The coating filters the light output to a deep red wavelength, producing coloured light rather than white light filtered by an external gel or cover.

Designed for stage lighting, themed environments, party venues and decorative installations where red light is needed without additional filtering, the R80 fits standard domestic lamp holders and runs on 230V mains. The rear reflector reduces backwards light spill and concentrates the beam forward, making it more effective than a standard coloured bulb in directional fixtures. The 750-hour lifespan suits temporary installations, seasonal displays and events rather than permanent year-round use.

The coated glass finish is baked onto the bulb envelope during manufacture, giving a more durable colour layer than spray-p
