Description

The QTX rectangle disco ball motor is a heavy-duty overhead drive unit designed to rotate professional mirror balls up to 50kg in weight. The motor runs on 230V UK mains at 6W, turning at 0.8 revolutions per minute to create the slow, sweeping light reflections characteristic of large mirror ball installations. The rectangular metal housing measures 310 x 200 x 210mm and weighs 4.58kg, providing a stable anchor point for the suspended mirror ball below.

Designed for installation in entertainment venues, nightclubs, event spaces and large function rooms where ceiling heights allow mirror balls of 40cm diameter or larger, the motor mounts to structural ceiling joists or steel beams via the pre-drilled fixing holes on the top plate.
