Description

This Mantra silk string lampshade is built from continuous black silk thread wound around a metal frame, creating a 25/40cm tapered drum with a 250mm height. The silk wrapping technique leaves controlled gaps between each thread layer, allowing light to pass through while the thread itself casts fine vertical shadows onto surrounding surfaces.

The shade fits standard pendant lampholders and floor lamp risers with a compatible fitting ring (sold separately or check existing lamp specifications). The 250mm-400mm taper gives the shade enough visual presence for use over dining tables or side tables, while the 250mm height keeps it proportional on a floor lamp column. When lit from inside, the black silk softens into charcoal and the thread gaps allow striped light patterns to project outward.
